El Naaba – the wave spot in the South of Egypt for Windsurfer and Kitesurfer!

El Naaba is the only wave spot in the entire Red Sea for windsurfers. 20km away from the next big City, Marsa Alam, far away from the tourism and located in the middle of nowhere we offer you a small, cozy windsurf center. In wintertime the swelling waves are sometimes reaching 3m and it's just fun to ride on them..

In El Naaba you still can find an untouched nature and a magnificent under water world. During a snorkeling or diving trip you can experience the marvelous and colourful coral reefs. Even turtles and dolphins are regular guests here! You will also find a small but cozy hotel with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly and considerate staff.

If you look for pure relaxation and nature El Nabaa is the right location for you. Far away from mass tourism and noisy nightlife the central point of all activities is surfing and kiting. You can start your surf day right after breakfast as the wind is welcoming you early in the morning and is usually staying until late afternoon.

In El Nabaa you will find two bays with sandy underground which is ideal for windsurfing and kiting: the Giant Bay and Baby Bay. The Giant Bay is only ideal for windsurfer and kitersurfer who are familiar with waterstart as you will find the first waves which are twisting around the reef after 100m. Outside the bay the waves are twisting more in wind direction and are becoming bigger, longer and higher, sometimes up to 3-4 meters. In strong wind conditions you should stay away from the lee side of the bay as you will find here rocky underground and a swell which is hitting the beach unhindered.

For beginners and for professionals who want to improve their technique the lagoon is the ideal alternative. 
A reef is separating the lagoon from the sea and has either small or big shallow water depending on the tides. Surfing or kiting here is absolute safe even under strong wind conditions. Old school & new school maneuvers, arials and cool moves are possible.
